Who am I?... Well I won't bore you with the details too much.

My name is Ryan, I am a writer and film director based in Perth, Western Australia. 

From an early age I have been a massive admirer and fan of the artform that is film.

In 2017 I decided to progress my love for film being a movie fan into the craft itself, and I've never looked back since.

Influences and hero's come from all eras, from 1920s - 30s, right up until present. Many directors that's work have inspired me are: 

John Carpenter, Ridley Scott, James Cameron, Steven Spielberg, Orson Welles, Peter Yates, Alan Parker, Sidney Lumet, John Ford, Sergio Leone, Michael Mann, John Sturges, Akira Kurosowa, Sam Peckinpah, Alfred Hitchcock, Christopher Nolan, M. Night Shyamalan, John Mctiernan,  Nagisa Ōshima, William Friedkin, Clint Eastwood...... the list goes on and on.

I love dreaming up stories and telling them visually through careful, purposeful camera work and authentic performances. 

Human nature fascinates me, whether that be with others or my own short comings. Films have always helped me through life, often providing many cathartic experiences and I can say without a doubt, filmmaking does it even more.
